Wow, what have I've enjoyed the most!?
*I loved Flickr but need to revisit it to find the picture I posted and to try to get the Flickr Words to work on my blog.
*I just went to the Western Spring History website that was listed in this week's lesson and emailed our historical society's president with a link. What a neat idea.
*I love the Library Thing but need to spend more time on it.
*And I enjoy the newsreader and check my noted blogs daily ( or sometimes more). I've found lot's a books, mainly craft ones, through these blogs and hope I'm not becoming a pest to our head librarian.
Play on!
P.S. What am I asking for for Christmas? A few more hours in the week to devote to my Project Play studies!

week 4 - LATE!
Hi all.
I realized I didn't post anything about week 4 even though I left comments on other's pages and changed my blogger settings. I think the whole commenting to others and having others comment on your blog does take some getting used to. We have all been warned about Internet predators and now we are out here inviting strangers to comment. I did get a strange foreign comment that I couldn't read because it was in another language. But it's nice because the edit button comes into play. I think it's going to take my generation time to get used to this whole process but I think it could be great for our library to get feedback on all sorts of things.

WIKI's
I just finished adding a link to our library, Caestecker Public Library, on the Wikipedia page for our town, Green Lake. It was a little scary and I really don't know if I did it right. It didn't show up but I think it said they have to check it. The same thing happened with Flickr, after adding a photo, I couldn't find it. Oh, well, I should be getting an A for effort and I'll just keep on playing!

tags
Tonight I learned about tags, also know as labels. I like the concept. As a library patron I can see how this has merit for a library web site. I have tried to look for something under "subject" but if you don't have the exact lingo sometimes it's hard to find what you are looking for. I think it's a good idea to have tags along with the tried and true system.

Library Thing
http://http//www.librarything.com/catalog/alpolcyn
Here is a link to my Library Thing. I haven't organized it yet but put in a bunch of books that I've read and have enjoyed. I think this is an awesome place because I do like to share what I've read with friends and like to review what I've read myself. Now I don't have to rely on my memory! I'm reading Merle's Door by Ted Kerasote now, which is not on my list. I will add it because I'm enjoying it. What are you reading?
